Robots have traditionally operated as islands. They perceive the world through discrete sensors, run isolated algorithms to process the data, and act.

But the human mind does not work this way. We integrate our senses—vision, hearing, touch, and proprioception—into a continuous, fluid understanding of our environment and the intentions of those around us.

Explicit Vision & Gaze

Where we look is the purest indicator of what we intend to do next. By aligning human gaze with robotic planning, we bridge the gap between intention and action.

Shared Autonomy

When the system can predict the human's underlying goal through behavioral cues, it isn't just taking orders—it's collaborating.

This philosophy drives every paper, every algorithm, and every interaction I design.
